BPAC members advocate for safe walking and biking in Alexandria. They provide bike mentors for those who want to get out and ride. They sponsor Biking in the Schools classes in many Alexandria elementary schools, and Bike Rodeos in partnership with community groups to teach children how to ride safely. They sponsor group rides and walks to engage folks in healthy activities, and advocate for safer streets to reduce fears that might keep people from getting out and being active. At the festival, Alexandria BPAC plans to distribute information about their biking and walking, our bike mentoring program and other activities. They also plan to perform safety checks on bike helmets and right-sizing bikes and teach some riding safety drills.
Alexandria Community Rowing
Alexandria Community Rowing (ACR) is a rowing club within the Washington, D.C. area that provides recreational and competitive rowing opportunities for adult rowers of all ages and skill levels. We are affiliated with the Alexandria Crew Boosters, Inc., which supports the T.C. Williams High School rowing program. Given their affiliation and support, ACR has access to one of the most modern and fully equipped boathouses in the Washington, D.C. area. ACR will set up some rowing machines and offer instruction to interested participants and will feature "sprint" 500 meter races between participants.

Amazing Treats by Samantha are homemade dog treats made with love and fully recognizable ingredients so you can know exactly what you're feeding your pups! They will be selling and sampling dog treats at their booth, as well as sharing more information about the treats themselves and where to buy.
Ascend Cycle + Underground is an indoor cycling and strength training fitness studio in Del Ray. We offer indoor cycling classes, strength and interval training classes, as well as classes that combine both cycling and strength training. Ascend Cycle will offer free outdoor cycling and strength training classes.
Aquatic Dance Exercise
Instructor Cindy Marisch teaches shallow water adult aquatic fitness classes at Alexandria's Chinquapin Recreation Center for the Department of Recreation, Parks, & Cultural Activities. Her class consists of a unique choreographed cardio segment followed by upper body toning and core stability. At the festival, she will have a small table with a tri-fold cardboard display and some aquatic fitness items (foam dumbbells, webbed gloves, aquatic shoes), will provide verbal descriptions of her classes, answer questions, and hand out small flyers advertising her classes.

Del Ray Artisans is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote art for the benefit of artists and the community. DRA emphasizes support for emerging artists and serves as a center for artistic activity in the Del Ray community. During the month of June, DRA is hosting a gallery show called "Art in Meditation" focusing on the chakras, and providing related workshops. DRA will be selling chakra-related jewelry and other art items handmade by DRA members. The gallery will be open for participants to peruse during the event.

EaseYoga Cafe is Del Ray business on the avenue that focuses on health and wellness through yoga. Ease will be offering a partner yoga class with Mind the Mat and will be featuring a booth with information about their classes and a face painter for children.

Falun Dafa Association of DC is the local non-profit that presents Shen Yun Symphony Orchestra in the Kennedy Center and Strathmore (SYSO, The only orchestra in the world with Chinese instruments as permanent members in a full western orchestra, the music is known for its healing/soothing effect. In fact, the Chinese word for medicine 藥 comes from the word for music 樂. At the festival, we will provide free music sampling via headsets and offer information and tickets for future performances of SYSO.

We help new families thrive! At the festival, they will have a ""Breastfeeding Rest Stop" for mothers who need a shaded place to comfortably sit and feed their babies during the festivities. Studio Body Logic is an authentic Pilates studio offering group mat classes and private and semi-private instruction on the Apparatus. At the festival, they will be teaching a Pilates class. At the festival, they will be performing Skateboarding and doing a clinic of "How to" skateboarding and demonstrating safety tips for all.
The Lion’s Den
The Lion’s Den is a community-drive and operated organization dedicated to inclusion through weekly dance and yoga classes, education workshops and events.
They focus on connection, creative and collaboration and aim to cultivate a space for all people to feel safe, bond as a family and create impactful art. At the festival, The Lion’s Den will be teaching a free family Hip Hop class.
The Peele Group
The Peele Group is a real estate team, focused on helping clients before, during, and after a sale. At the festival, they will offer wellness for the home featuring give-aways and activities with prizes that educate attendees about how to keep a healthy, happy home. They will also offer green solutions to cleaning a home and cheat-sheets on home safety.
Terrain Clinic was founded by naturopathic doctors Robert Boyd and Desiree Galante. They are a full service naturopathic clinic focused on fertility, thyroid disorders and women's and men's health. They work with their clients using completely natural approaches including herbal medicine, clinical nutrition, diet therapy and lifestyle medicine. At the festival, they will have a raffle, offer healthy snacks, and blood typing kits.
Together We Bake
Together We Bake is a workforce training and personal empowerment program for women in need. Their teams actively participate in running the micro bakery and producing healthy snacks. They will be selling products at the festival, including Cinnamon Apple Chips, Trail Mix, and Cinnamon Pecan Granola.
Turn On Your Light, LLC
Kathleen serves individuals, couples and families to improve their well-being and relationships. At the festival, she will have a giveaway and will be promoting her book, Loveseed: The Template For Birthing A New World.
Upper Cervical Chiropractic Group, PLLC
Upper Cervical Chiropractic Group is a local chiropractic office specifically focused on providing holistic care to women and families in preconception, pregnancy, and post birth phases of their lives. At the festival, they will provide a welcoming opportunity for the members of the community to learn more about what their health care options are and how they may be able to assist them in achieving their health goals through postural assessments, having informational materials available, and being present to answer questions.
VITAL Body & Mind
VITAL Body & Mind prides itself on integrating both an Eastern and Western Medicine approach from 14 solo practitioners. They provide allopathic as well as holistic and complementary services, with practitioners working in tandem with a pluralistic and team approach.
Waxing the City/INOVA Blood Bank
Waxing the City offers body waxing head to toe for both men and women. These services allow for people to look as great as they feel. At the festival, Waxing the City is sponsoring the INOVA Blood Mobile.
Weston A. Price Foundation
The Weston A Price Foundation ("WAPF") is a member-supported, not-for-profit nutrition education foundation dedicated to providing consumers with accurate information about diet and health. WAPF recommends nutrient dense foods obtained directly from farmers, like those at the Del Ray farmers' market. At the festival, they plan to give away pamphlets on the benefits of eating whole, unprocessed foods, and also answer questions people may have.
Wholistic Hound Academy
Wholistic Hound Academy is a local resource for helping people to live a healthy and happy life with their dog. We look at the whole dog, in terms of nutrition, exercise level, age, past or present injuries, and more. Families and people that have a trained dog live a more enriched and well life. Having a dog that is a joy to live with in the home and in the neighborhood provides for a healthy relationship between owner and dog and a harmonious household. Aside from puppy and manners classes, the Academy teaches an array of agility and dog sports classes, including canine fitness, canine conditioning, and dog parkour. At the festival, they propose to have their FIT PAWS canine fitness equipment at the vendor booth. They also plan to teach a canine fitness and conditioning class behind Nature’s Nibbles.
The Mission of the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington fosters the spiritual, mental and physical development of individuals, families and communities according to the ideals of inclusiveness, equality, and mutual respect for all. They are a charitable, membership based, non-profit organization that has several types of programs and options for all to be able to achieve their health and wellness goals. The YMCA will be hosting a cardio class for all ages. We will use our vendor booth to give out information about what the YMCA has to offer. We will have information about Membership, Youth Programs, Summer Camp, Group Exercise Classes, Personal Training, Swim Lessons, and more.
Yoga in Daily Life Alexandria
Yoga in Daily Life Alexandria teaches an authentic and holistic yoga system suitable for all age groups and fitness levels. Their emphasis is on harmony of body and mind and overall well-being. In addition to yoga classes, we offer meditation classes and vegetarian cooking workshops. At the festival, they will teach a yoga class and they plan to sell class passes, distribute promotional materials, and display and sell books and yoga accessories.
YoKid...Stretch Your Limits
YoKid's mission is focused on the National Kids Yoga Conference. This annual conference features notable presenters in the kids yoga community who share tools, experience, and knowledge with teachers, counselors, educators, yoga teachers, or anyone who works with youth. Conference participants are then able to share tools to bring yoga and mindfulness programs to their community or continue to build yoga programs through knowledge shared at the conference. YoKid also shares yoga with kids in the local community by participating in events. At the festival, YoKid will be teaching a free Kids Yoga class.

Essential oils have been used since ancient times for health and wellness. Recently, the oils and oil infused supplements have become mainstream as people are seeking alternative, 100% pure, toxic-free products for their bodies, homes, and general well being. Young Living Essential Oils plans to display the various oils, diffusers, and other products from Young Living, toxic free household cleaning products, nutritional supplements, baby products, animal products, along with a raffle drawing for a gift basket of $100 worth of items. They hope to spread Joy (that's an oil blend) by handing out silk roses infused with this oil.
Zyia Active represents a line of high quality active wear that will be displayed at the event. Customers may order items at this event that will be shipped directly to their home.
